Ansem Report 13

April 21, 2008 · Leave a Comment

This report is given to you after the defeat of Xemnas (the Unknown) in Final Mix.

When the heart casts off the flesh, where does the body go?

Heart and soul are separate, and the spirit remains in the body. But can we assume that the leftover body and soul perish?

Certainly when the heart changes into a Heartless the body disappears.

However, that is only this world’s story; in another world, mightn’t they change forms like the Heartless and exist there?

If we take that to be the case, there must be a you other than yourself existing somewhere.

An existence neither of darkness nor of light.
An in-between existence.
Cast off by the heart, a mere shell, one who begrudges both the darkness and the light.

This mystery cannot be easily resolved.
The relationship between the heart and the flesh is a complex one.

But since we exist here, they cannot be termed as existent.
Therefore I shall call them…

“The non-existent ones.”

The queen of Wonderland, she lives in a castle made of cards. Her soldiers are cards too. Selfish and short-tempered, she has a tendency to order decapitations as it suits her fancy. She accuses Alice of trying to steal her heart, and it was up to Sora to find the real culprit or it was off with her head.

100 Acre Wood

April 21, 2008 · 1 Comment

This world is totally optional, so let’s get that out of the way. Plus, you have to gather Torn Pages from the worlds so you can see what happens next. So I recommend you search for all the Torn Pages then visit the 100 Acre Wood, so you can finish it first visit. The Torn Page locations are as follows:Reward for finding 51 dalmatians,Agrabah:Cave of Wonders;Dark Chamber, Monstro:Chamber 6,Atlantica:Ariel’s Grotto,Halloween Town:Research Lab.

Walk towards Winnie the Pooh and talk to him. After the convers. Move to the end of the log Pooh was sitting on and there is a green chest inside. Open it and you get a Mythril Shard. Then, leave the meadow.

Head towards Pooh’s House on the book. At Pooh’s House, walk around back and hit the chimney to knock a chest into the house. You’ll know you’re successful when you hear a chime sound. Enter the house and claim the Mega-Ether, then listen to Pooh. Afterwards, open the cabinet to get a Elixir. Leave the house and talk to Owl.

When you find one Torn Page, return to the Hundred Acre Wood. This opens up the Honey Tree near the compass at the top of the page. You encounter Piglet here, nut he runs away and behind a bush. Run around the tree in the opposite direction and sneak up on him. Then you’ll be able to talk to him. When Pooh shows up, talk to him next. After you agree to chase away the bees, Owl appears and offers some tips on how to help Pooh get honey. You have three mintues to accomplish this task. As the bees emerge from their hives, lock onto them and whack them.Don’t move the left analog stick or you’ll fall. With good timing and some luck, Sora will jump to the next branch. If you fall from the tree, move to the base of it and use the Rush command. Note, however, the Rush command deducts five points from your score. When the mingames end, the Torn Page will turn into a NatureSpark(take this to the Fairy Godmother and you’ll get Bambi as a summon.)

When you return to the 100 Acre Wood again with another Torn Page, head to Rabbit’s House in the upper-left corner.Pull all the cabbages and pumpkins in the garden out to get items.Go behind the tree and talk to Pooh and Piglet, then head inside the house and talk to Rabbit. When Pooh wants some honey lock on to the blue pot then try to leave the area.Piglet comes to get you and tells you Pooh is stuck.Exit and go behind the house and talk to him. Upon Tigger’s arrival, Owl shows up to explain a new minigame.

Tigger will bounce from carrot top to carrot top, burying each one more deeply. If a carrot gets completely buried, then it becomes lost. Stand on the carrot that Tigger is about to bounce on to keep him from stomping it into the ground. You can use the Rush Command in this minigame as well. When you’re finished go inside the house and talk to Pooh. Sora knocks him out of the hole and your work at Rabbit’s House is complete. The Torn Page is turned into a Mythril Shard.

With another Torn Page in your possession, a tree appears near the bridge in the lower right-hand area of the book. When Pooh and Piglet spot Eeyore, jump into the water and save him. Follow Owl’s instructions and lead Pooh to the swing on the small hill. When targeted, he follows Sora. Lead him up the hill and into the swing. After you hear the instructions for the minigame, press R1when Pooh swings back to propel him forward. Owl will open his wings to indicate when to push the R1 button. Repeat this process until Pooh flies off the swing and lands on Eeyore’s makeshift house. For completing this part of the quest, your Stop spell is upgraded. Return to Pooh’s house at this point. He is cold from swinging, so use Fire magic to light the wood sticks and Pooh will give you a Mythril.

The next Torn Page opens up a page very near the center of the book. When you walk up to Tigger and Roo, they ask if you want to bounce. Agree to do so and then talk to Tigger again. Watch what he does, then jump from stump to stump in the same order. The first challenge is easy and you should have no trouble with it. The Second path is a little more complicated. Jump forward, then turn around and jump to the stump on the left. Jump forward to the end, but before you hop onto the ledge, turn around and jump backward one stump toward the large pot. Then jump back to the finish. The Third path is almost the same as the first, except Roo launches you from a seesaw to one of the branches above. Jumping to the stump below can be tricky. Use first-person view to look down and then drop down, don’t jump! Then continue on.

After passing all of Tigger’s little challenges, talk to Roo to start the real minigame. During this game, Tigger throws nuts out of the big honey pot.You must strike them so they rock the pot.Without making Sora fall of the tree stump. If you do, talk to Roo again. While standing on the tree stump, attack each nut without jumping. Stand at the center of the stump, and move Sora back to that position after each swing. When you get a score of 20 or more, the game will end.

After knocking the pot off the hollow trunk, jump inside the trunk to find a green chest containing an AP up. Now move to a nearby trunk and use target-lock to lock on a middle weak spot. Attack it to get a Mythril. Talk to Tigger near the back tree, then go to the seesaw and choose Roo as a partner and you’ll fly directly above to the branches. Jump to grab a Rare Nut. Then get the second Rare Nut. Fall down to the branch directly below to get a Thunder-G. You may need to use the Glide ability to get it.

Lower the tree stump at the back of the area by jumping on it.This makes the water geyser lift the tree stump on the other side, where you can obtain another Rare Nut.Now do the seesaw with Tigger. From the branch where you land, jump along the branches to the left to reach a piece of land with a red chest, which contains a Mythril Shard. From here, turn onto the leafy branches of the nearby tree.(Pooh is standing at the base of it.)Jump inside the hollow of the tree to knock a Dispel-G loose.

Jump onto the short stump near Piglet to start a geyser. Then use the large stump near the ledge to jump onto the floating bark platform. From here, jump onto the tree branch above to get another Rare Nut. Now have Roo launch you into the tree above, then turn left and jump along the tree branches. The last Rare Nut is in the branch directly above the first stump and the geyser. Now talk to Owl and he’ll exchange you with a Power-Up,Defense-Up,Mythril Shard,AP Up, and a Orichalcum for all the Rare Nuts you’ve collected. Then exit the area and the Torn Page will turn into a Mythril.

With the last Torn Page, you will open a “winding muddy path” in the lower-left corner of the book.Enter it and talk to Pooh. Now you have to find all of Pooh’s friends around the muddy path. Target-lock on Pooh and he will follow you. Walk around the center brush and examine it, where you’ll find Eeyore inside. This is the place where you put all of Pooh’s friends in one place.

Lock on to Pooh, then lead him around the central brush and under a nearby tree root, where Roo is hopping. Talk to him and he will wait inside the brush.Move toward the set of holes in the rock wall at the back of the area, and wait for Rabbit to come out of one of them. Talk to him to make him go to the brush.Air is rising from a well under the fallen tree trunk that Tigger is bouncing on. Jump into the draft to rise to the area above, stand on the end of the fallen tree and wait for Tigger to come close, then talk to him.Jump onto the well again to rise to the upper level. Venture across the tree to the other side, jump to the ledge high above, and talk to Owl.To get Piglet out of the hollow tree you must lead Pooh to Piglet. Stand at the end of the log, target the cobwebs inside, and use the Fire spell to remove them. Move to the blue flowers below and use target-lock on Pooh to make him float up to the next platform. Stand at the end of the log and target Pooh so that he walks through it. Finally, stand near the blue flowers at the end of the log and Pooh will float up again. Then, stand near the tree and Pooh will go inside and talk to Piglet. Now drop below and talk to Piglet to make him join the others.

With all six friends reunited, you witness a scene which the keyhole is sealed. Don’t worry, you can still return to the Hundred Acre Wood to replay the minigames and whatnot. The Final Torn Page becomes a Orichalcum.
